These bags contain 4 Pounds of substrate & 1 Pound of grain. These bags are intended for exotic varieties that prefer lower spawn to substrate ratios . This formula helps prevent overlay
Estimated Dry Yield:
1.5-3 Ounces per flush
2-3 flushes per bag
All In One Mushroom Grow Bags:
- Our Fast Fruit All In One Mushroom Grow Bags are designed for easy and successful mushroom cultivation. They contain oat/wheat and our popular aPlusAlpacaRabbit Substrate.
- Each bag has 3 pounds of aPlusAlpacaRabbit Substrate and 2 pounds of grain. These bags are crafted to simplify the growing process, requiring minimal effort while delivering excellent results. You can inoculate your culture through the injection port and wait for mushrooms to grow. Each bag produces 2-3 ounces of dried mushrooms per flush.
- When administering a liquid culture syringe to inoculate the bag, utmost care must be taken to ensure that the liquid culture solution exclusively contacts the grain. Injecting too deeply may lead to infiltration into the substrate. In the event of inadvertent deep inoculation, it is recommended to thoroughly blend the entire contents of the bag and exercise patience for optimal results.
How to Inoculate : 3 Different Methods
1. Traditional Method:
- Inject 5-30 cc of Liquid Culture at the bottom of the bag, ensuring it stays on the grain. Set and forget. We recommend not to mix any of the contents at all. Let the mycelium colonize the whole bag at its own rate.
Fruiting Methods: 2 Different Methods
Bag Fruiting - In Vitro
1. Fruit In Bag by simply inoculating, set, and forget. In normal conditions, fruit will occur in 4-6 weeks. Optimal fruiting temperatures are 70-75 degrees. Remember, heat the room, not the shroom.
2. Add a rubber band around the base of the bag to help prevent side pins
Or:
Shotgun Fruiting Chamber
1. Inoculate using Traditional Method Listed above. Once full colonization has been reached, build a shotgun fruiting chamber.
Instructions:
- Prepare a fruiting chamber using a 54 Quart Sterilite Gasket Bin.
- Cut 2 holes on the long side and 1 hole on the short side of the bin, each measuring 2-3 inches wide .
- Cover the holes with 3-inch Wide Micropore tape. Depending on your environment you will layer the micropore tape over the FAE (Fresh Air Exchange) holes. If a dry environment, add 3 layers, if a humid environment, use 1 layer, if regular environment, use 2 layers.
- Add a layer of perlite to the bottom of the bin and wet it so it's damp but not floating.
- Remove your colonized block and place on top of aluminum foil, on the damp perlite.
- Maintain humidity between 80-90% for optimal growth. A small hydrometer in the Shotgun Fruiting chamber will help optimize conditions.
Depending on your growing conditions and method, you should see fruit in your bags in about 4-5 weeks. The optimal room temperature is 72 degrees Fahrenheit.

Spore syringes are not recommended for direct use on grains due to potential sterility issues and slow germination.
We strongly advise using liquid culture or agar for faster and more successful colonization. Liquid cultures are not included
To achieve the best results, maintain a room temperature between 72-78 degrees Fahrenheit.

If Selecting aPlusAlpacaRabbit Substrate:
*Given the inherent characteristics of Alpaca manure, which is gently harvested directly from their grazing areas, it is natural to find occasional small pebbles or bits of hay mixed in. However, rest assured, these incidental inclusions do not compromise the sterility of the substrate
