Easy Mushroom Cultivation with All-in-One Grow Bags

Our All-in-One Mushroom Grow Bags simplify mushroom growing. Each bag contains 2 lbs of grain and 3 lbs of substrate for successful cultivation.

Proper Inoculation

How to Inoculate : 3 Different Methods

1. Traditional Method:

1. Inject 5-10 cc of Liquid Culture at the bottom of the bag, ensuring it stays on the grain.
2. After 7-14 days or when the grain is about 20-30% colonized, mix the bag thoroughly. Add a rubber band around the base of the substrate 5 days later. This prevents side pins, ensures even flushes, and leads to success.

3. Fast Fruit Method:

1. Mix all the contents of the Fast Fruit bag.
2. Add your inoculate liquid culture to the bag.
3. Mix the contents thoroughly and wait.

Fruiting Methods: 3 Different Methods

Bag Fruiting - In Vitro

1. Fruit In Bag by simply inoculating, set, and forget. In normal conditions, fruit will occur in 4-6 weeks. Optimal fruiting temperatures are 70-75 degrees. Remember, heat the room, not the shroom.

2. Add a rubber band around the base of the bag to help prevent side pins

Shotgun Fruiting Chamber

1. Inoculate using Traditional Method Listed above. Once full colonization has been reached, build a shotgun fruiting chamber.

Instructions:

1. Prepare a fruiting chamber using a 54 Quart Sterilite Gasket Bin.
2. Cut 2 holes on the long side and 1 hole on the short side of the bin, each measuring 2-3 inches wide .
3. Cover the holes with 3-inch Wide Micropore tape. Depending on your environment you will layer the micropore tape over the FAE (Fresh Air Exchange) holes. If a dry environment, add 3 layers, if a humid environment, use 1 layer, if regular environment, use 2 layers.
4. Add a layer of perlite to the bottom of the bin and wet it so it's damp but not floating.
5. Remove your colonized block and place on top of aluminum foil, on the damp perlite.
6. Maintain humidity between 80-90% for optimal growth. A small hydrometer in the Shotgun Fruiting chamber will help optimize conditions. 

  Or:

Dub Tub 

Depending on your growing conditions and method, you should see fruit in your bags in about 4-5 weeks. The optimal room temperature is 72 degrees Fahrenheit. If fruiting in the bag, bag had reached 100% colonization, and is pooling water, or soaking wet, simply cut a small slit below the filter and cover with micropore tape. This increases airflow and makes it easier for the water to evaporate. The slow evaporation is what induces pinning. Remember, be patient!
