This is a fully colonized Lions Mane Fruiting Block! Harvested from the Finger Lakes Region in Upstate, New York!

Induce fruiting by slicing small “x’s” in the bag at the site of primordia, or where the Lions Mane naturally starts to fruit. Do not cut off the top of the bag. More holes will cause more smaller fruit, whereas less holes will ensure fewer but larger fruit.
There are many ways to induce fruiting conditions. Wether using a simple plastic bag in which you place over your fruting block and misting the bag daily to keep humidity up, or simply using a martha fruiting tent. Do what works best for your personal needs. There is no wrong way to fruit your lions mane, just keep the humidity up, and temperatures 75-70 degrees Fahrenheit. Remember, mushrooms cannot grow in complete darkness, so make sure they recieve some ambient light!
