1. Quality Assurance:

   • At aPlusGrain, we prioritize product sterility.

   • If you notice any issues during the resting period:

     • Contact our team for assistance.

     • Send a picture of the problem and the unused injection port.

     • We’ll promptly address your concerns.

2. Inoculation Process:

   • Once the resting period is complete and sterility is confirmed, prepare to inoculate.

   • Spray the injection port with 70% alcohol and let it dry for 30 seconds.

   • Inject up to 10 ml of liquid culture (LC) through the port. Never spore syringes as they’ll take extremely take very long to germinate and often are contaminated.   

   • Never store bags in incubators, boxes, or any closed containers — these environments can promote unwanted microbial growth and lead to cross-contamination.

Optimal Growing Conditions

Maintain these conditions in the room your bags are stored in

• Temperature: 70-75°F (21-24°C)

• Humidity: 30-60%

Note: Deviating from these conditions may affect colonization and fruiting rates. Never use spore syringes to grain, only liquid culture or agar
